Case Study 01 — EffektAI Websites
The site you're reading
right now — built and run by EffektAI.
EffektivWeb itself is the case study. Every page you're browsing — the copy, the design system, the SEO foundations, the structured data — was written and is maintained entirely through conversation with EffektAI, deployed via Netlify Drop. No outsourced developer, no CMS, no months-long backlog.
The Situation
A new brand needed a home — fast, and done properly.
EffektivWeb exists because our legacy business, WebAlive, repositioned upmarket toward Web Apps and Connected Commerce — leaving existing small-business clients needing a dedicated new home. There was no existing site to migrate and no lengthy external brief to work from. Just a business that needed a full web presence, fast — built the same way we now build for clients.
The brief was to build a genuine small-business-facing brand: services, solutions, case studies, news, legal pages — 30-plus pages in total — with a proper design system, working SEO foundations, and analytics from day one. Not a placeholder site to be replaced later.
There was no existing content, no design brief to hand off and wait weeks on, and no months-long runway to get it live. The entire site — architecture, copywriting, CSS design system, component library, structured data, and ongoing SEO/performance monitoring — was built and is still maintained through direct conversation with EffektAI, with Netlify Drop as the only deployment step in between.
What a traditional website project takes months to deliver — architecture, 30+ pages of copy, a full design system, SEO foundations, structured data, and accessibility work — was built in two weeks and has kept improving every week since. The pace is the point: iteration measured in minutes rather than sprint cycles, with quality checked automatically on every single deploy.

What We Did
The full build, iteration, and deployment — through conversation.
Full site build, written by EffektAI
From a single brief on the business — services, positioning, tone, audience — EffektAI produced a complete, production-ready static HTML site: architecture, all copy across every page, a full CSS design system (navy/blue/teal/purple, Inter and DM Serif Display), and a component library built from scratch with no external frameworks.
Netlify Drop deployment — 50+ deploys in two weeks
The entire folder of HTML files is dragged into Netlify and live within seconds — no CLI, no Git, no build pipeline. That low friction meant every fix, new page, or content change became its own deploy, with a typical change-to-live loop of under five minutes.
Mobile responsiveness, diagnosed from real screenshots
Getting every page right on mobile took the most iteration — reviewing live pages on Android Chrome, screenshotting issues, and tracing them back to root causes like a mobile CSS rule silently overriding hero padding sitewide. Fixed via a targeted script across 28 pages once the actual cause was found.
Accessibility — real WCAG contrast calculations
Lighthouse flagged colour-contrast failures where brand accent colours (built for dark backgrounds) were being used as text on white. EffektAI calculated actual contrast ratios using the WCAG relative luminance formula and introduced accessible "-ink" colour variants, rather than dimming the brand palette everywhere.
The Results
96/95/100/100 on Lighthouse — checked automatically, on every deploy.
Full SEO foundations were built across all 30+ pages: canonical tags, unique meta descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, and 76 validated JSON-LD structured data blocks. Ahrefs' Site Health Score moved from 56 ("Fair") to 100 ("Excellent") as canonical, redirect, and duplicate-content issues were diagnosed and fixed. A Lighthouse-on-deploy check was then added on top, so every subsequent change is audited automatically — no manual trip to PageSpeed Insights required.
96 Performance, 95 Accessibility, 100 Best Practices, 100 SEO
The current Lighthouse split — well above what's typically achieved on WordPress or WebCommander builds, where plugin bloat and theme overhead make these scores harder to reach and easier to regress.
Ahrefs Health Score: 56 → 100
Root-caused a "no incoming internal links" canonical issue back to a missing www redirect and duplicate-content domain aliases — not a simple missing tag — and fixed the actual infrastructure problem.
Continuous monitoring, not a one-off audit
A Lighthouse-on-deploy plugin now runs the same check on every single deploy. Regressions get caught immediately rather than discovered weeks later, with essentially no manual QA overhead.
